Tip: Rope Pulldowns for Lats

Sit on the floor, get a full stretch of the lats, then pull with your elbows as far behind you as you can. Arch your low back and get your chest out.

These are great because you can achieve a very strong peak contraction in the lats.

  1. Sit on the floor and prop your back up against the seat.
  2. Allow a full stretch of the lats, then pull with your elbows as far behind you as you can.
  3. Do this while arching your low back and getting your chest out.
