Typically this happens about 20-60 minutes post-workout. A diet lower in sodium and higher in potassium would favor intracellular water retention but would not totally prevent shifting

The simple fact that your torso shouldn't change angle (imagine going down back to a wall) prevents it since the hip will not go back either, even if the knee angle is the same, the ankle, hip and torso angle are different.
