adamhart22 On bench and squat I hold my air, but not for the entire DL. I can't say that is what to follow, but what has worked best for me. I weigh 195 so maybe think a little over double BW for 10 as your challenge.

Congrats! Couple Qs... you don't hold your air. Is that typical of your 1RM attempts too or just because you were going for 10 this time? What do you weigh? I hit 405 last week at 174 (lift in 165 class) and I can't imagine smoking that for 10 anytime soon. Impressive work, thanks!

Thanks Will Im a big fan of your articles. I am going to give your recommendation a try until I can become more proficient with my technique. As I have a lot of trouble getting underneath the bar.

@flightposite: I don't know that I can say this complex is for you, but if we are looking at working on your weaknesses maybe something along the lines of a clean, front squat x 3-5, jerk combo. Accomodating "closely" your weak lift but challenging your strong ones.
